Let me tell you about my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid $19.95 for next-day delivery for glasses with Plano lenses, and then hours later, I receive an email saying it would take 3 business days. Where is "next day" in that? This complete lack of transparency and outright failure to deliver a paid service compelled me to try and reach customer service, if you can even call it that. Everything is automated and forces you to interact with a live chat bot or an endless phone system that they hope you’ll just give up on from pure frustration.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, and my order isn't coming for three business days! I've been trying to reach someone for ages about this $19.95 fee. Why was I charged for a service you clearly don't provide? CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the delay in your delivery and the difficulty you experienced reaching us. You paid for next-day delivery, and it's unacceptable that it's not being fulfilled. Customer: Unacceptable is an understatement! It's false advertising. I want my $19.95 refunded immediately. My order even had Plano lenses, so there was no 'production' delay. This isn't right. CS Rep: I completely agree, and I'm very sorry for this oversight. I've noted your order details. I am initiating a full refund of the $19.95 next-day delivery fee right now. You should see it processed back to your original payment method within 3-5 business days. Customer: Good. And what about the actual delivery? When will it arrive? I still need these glasses. CS Rep: The current tracking indicates your package is now in transit and is expected to be delivered by the end of the day on the 24th. I've sent you an updated tracking link to your email.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of paying for services that aren't provided and enduring such frustrating customer service.
